Small is Big is Small is Big is Small is...
Responsible for a third of Norway’s state budget, the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration (NAV) administers pensions, unemployment supports, and other public welfare services. In the face of external global shocks, NAV wanted to know how it could, or should, respond to future changes in order to continue providing people with social and economic security.
Tasked with exploring the brief from the macro perspective, we created Small is Big, a pop-up at NAV to engage employees in a discussion about the organization’s place amid global and societal change. A variety of activities and displays encouraged people to get playful and use their creativity to think about NAV’s social mission and future trajectory.
